Using Super chunky yarn and 8mm needles, this 50cm tall owl will not take long to make!
This huge ,cuddly owl is surprisingly quick to knit!
I chose super chunky yarn in a beautiful cream shade, as I thought that bright white would look too harsh and unfriendly.
As with most toy knitting projects, I used knitting needles which were a smaller size than those recommended on the ball band, so that the Hi-loft poly fibre filling did not show through after the owl was stuffed.
This large project is an easy make for the beginner knitter, it uses basic stitches ,simple shaping and minimal sewing up is an added bonus.
